The 2020 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) Annual Report is a progress review of the strategies implemented this year. While the CHIP is a community driven and collectively owned health improvement plan, the Washoe County Health District (WCHD) is charged with providing administrative support, tracking, collecting data, and preparing the annual report. A community health improvement process looks at the whole of the community, analyzing how a network of organizations providing various programs and services, some focused at diverse sectors of a community, contribute to community health improvement.
