NICRP is working with the Big Brother Big Sisters of Southern Nevada to provide data analysis and evaluation services to demonstrate the effectiveness of the program. Big Brothers Big Sisters matches children ages 6 through 18 with mentors in professionally supported one-to-one relationships. The current program undergoing an evaluation, is a school based mentor program where big brothers and sisters meet with their little brothers and sisters at a school on a weekly basis for mentor. Each time Big Brothers Big Sisters pairs a child with a role model, a one-to-one relationship is built on trust and friendship that can help a child reach their full potential.
