The Nevada State Health Division is working in collaboration with stakeholders to disseminate, provide outreach and bring awareness of safe injection practices to healthcare providers, patients, and the public in Nevada. NSHD is hopeful that this effort will improve the quality of care Nevadans receive throughout the state, ensure their safety, and help make healthcare associated infections related to unsafe injection practices a “never event” in the future. NICRP is assisting by evaluating the outreach efforts to ensure successful dissemination of Campaign information.
