In July 2015, the Clark County Department of Family Services (CCDFS) received a Title IV-E Waiver which allows them flexibility in how Federal foster care funding is spent. CCDFS is using the waiver to provide in-home safety services to children, when appropriate, as opposed to removing them from their home and placing them in foster care. NICRP was selected to evaluate the effectiveness of this new model of care.
