The Nevada Institute for Children’s Research and Policy (NICRP) is home to the Nevada Afterschool Network (NAN) with financial support from the Charles S. Mott Foundation. During this ongoing project, NICRP will organize and convene community organizations statewide to build the infrastructure and capacity of NAN, helping it to accomplish its three main goals of collaboration, advocacy, and quality for afterschool in Nevada.

21 Century Support
The Nevada Afterschool Network will coordinate the Nevada Flight Crew for Youth, professional development, an annual conference, provide technical assistance for programs associated with the 21 Century Schools.

Nevada Flight Crew – Million Girls Moonshot, Capacity Building Project
For the third year of the Million Girls Moonshot, NAN seeks to help facilitate relationships between STEM partners and Out of School time programs, increase awareness of existing STEM resources, and develop opportunities to elevate youth voice as champions for STEM in Nevada
