JTNN recognizes and appreciates the support from our community partners and funders on this Comprehensive Community Prevention Plan (CCPP) from 2022-2024 for prevention data, priorities and planned activities. This publication was supported in whole or part by the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Bureau of Health, Wellness and Prevention through funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). JTNN plans and organizes its substance misuse prevention activities in accordance with the Strategic Prevention Framework (see page 16) and by addressing specific risk and protective factors (see page 19). The assessment section provides county-level data on behaviors, protective factors, and perceived risks of a variety of commonly used substances and related behaviors to better understand the substance use prevention needs of Washoe County residents.
