This needs assessment was used to better understand the school districts current practices, resource needs, specific barriers, and their level of willingness to participate in the statewide systems change initiative that was taking place. Overall, this will allow Nevada to determine the most sensible way to approach improving each individual counties ability to ensure that children that are entering Kindergarten are ready to learn and thrive.
