Youth homelessness in Nevada is a critical issue that not only affects the individuals directly experiencing it but also has wide-reaching impacts on communities. In 2023, the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services funded a two-year, exploratory study to better understand the prevalence, characteristics, and needs of youth at risk of or experiencing homelessness, referred to throughout as YEH. This report, the third in a series, offers a high-level overview of the study’s findings and provides recommendations for effective interventions and resource allocation to address youth homelessness. It is designed to guide service providers, policymakers, and other stakeholders in Nevada, aiming to inform future efforts and support the goal of ending youth homelessness in the state.
